- New Year’s Day: Observed on the 1st of January every year according to the Georgian calendar or Julian calendar, New Year’s Day is the world’s only truly globally public holiday.
- Valentine’s Day: Valentine’s Day is an annual ceremony celebrating love and affection between close companions on the 14th of February.
- International Women’s Day: International Women’s Day is marked on the 8th March every year where each woman celebrates on being a woman irrespective of religion.
- Earth Day: Celebrated on the 22nd of April, Earth Day, invented by John McConnell, is envisioned to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s natural environment.
- May Day: May Day, commonly known as Labour Day, falls on the 1st May, is a day of political group display of opinion and celebrations organized by communist, anarchists, socialists, unionists, and other groups.
- World Environment Day: 5 June is observed as World Environment Day. Closely related to Earth Day, World Environment Day created awareness among people of the environment and enhances political attention and public action.
- World Population Day: Observed on July 11, World Population Day was legally recognized by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989, is an annual event creating awareness of global population issues.
- International Literacy Day: September 8, well-known as International Literacy Day, was discovered by UNESCO in 1966 to represent the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies.
- World Teacher’s Day: Annually held on 5th of October since 1994, World Teacher’s Day aims at mobilizing support to teachers and to ensure that the needs of the future generations will move farther by teachers.
- World Peace Day: Intended only for the purpose of Peace, and precisely the absence of war, World Peace Day occurs annually on the 17th of November.
- World AIDS Day: Devoted to raise an awareness of the AIDS pandemic, World AIDS Day is observed on the 1st of December each year.
