Introduction to Pottery – Hand built and Wheel Pottery

Studio Happy Potter recently organized a Workshop at the Citypuls School of Culture and Creative Art premises in Gandhinagar to promote this art form and enable those who have an interest to learn. The workshop was conducted by Happy Potter “Neelma Nagpal”. She Had various group exhibitions and solo shows and has been conducting workshops. She is from Ahmedabad where she has her Studio.

This workshop was organized to give an “introduction to pottery: – Hand built and Wheel Pottery”. Where all the participants from different age groups and very different areas of society came together and explored the fun part of pottery.
All the participants were allowed to play with clay as much as they want Basic techniques of clay art and pottery like pinching, rolling, making clay, sticking and centering clay on the wheel were introduced by Neelma.
It was a fun exercise conducted by Happy Potter and the help of the City Puls School of Culture and Creative Art.
