Shri Narendra Modi inaugurates Gymkhana of the Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar

On the evening of 5th October  2013, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Gymkhana of Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar. The Gymkhana Green building has the modern facilities of Gymnasium, Yoga Room, Swimming Pool , Badminton Court and Library.

गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज राज्य की राजधानी गांधीनगर में 18 करोड़ के खर्च से नवनिर्मित सचिवालय जिमखाना का शुभारम्भ किया।

राजधानी में बसे राज्य सरकार के कर्मयोगियों और उनके परिजनों के लिए तनावमुक्ति का नजराना आज श्री मोदी ने प्रथम नवरात्री को कर्मयोगियों को उपहार में दिया।

वर्ष 1970 में गांधीनगर राजधानी के रूप में कार्यरत हुई तब छोटे स्तर पर सचिवालय का यह जिमखाना संकुल शुरु हुआ था मगर राजधानी में बसे कर्मयोगियों और उनके परिजनों के लिए इस आधुनिक जिमखाने का 43 साल बार पहली बार मुख्यमंत्री के मार्गदर्शन में नवसंस्करण किया गया है।

इस संकुल में 20 जितने छोटे गेम्स के साथ ही फिटनेस सेंटर, स्वीमिंग पूल, एरोबिक्स, फिजियोथेरापी सेंटर, योगा हॉल, मल्टिपर्पज कोर्ट, स्पोर्ट्स लाइब्रेरी, कॉंफ्रेंस हॉल, ट्रेनिंग सेंटर, कम्युनिटी हॉल और फूड कोर्ट जैसी खास सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाई गई हैं।

पूर्व के जिमखाने में 200 आजीवन सदस्य थे जबकि नये नवसंस्कारित संकुल में आज ही 1400 कर्मयोगियों ने इसकी आजीवन सदस्यता ले ली है। जिमखाने के चेयरमेन और अग्रसचिव पंकज कुमार ने यह जानकारी दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने समग्र संकुल का निरीक्षण किया।
