SHAMIANA @ PDPU (Oscar Special Screenings)

Video Graphics Association (VGA), the film club of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is proud to host the renowned short film club SHAMIANA at its campus.
The much-awaited event consists of a series of short film screenings nominated at the Oscars, one of them being ‘Death of a Shadow’ which was nominated this year itself. Other major short films include ‘La Luna’, ‘Time Freak’, ‘Pentecost’ and a few more interesting short films.

Cyrus Dastur, the Founder of SHAMIANA, himself will be hosting the event. This is the first time that short film screenings are happening on such a large scale in Gandhinagar.

This event is OPEN FOR ALL. There are NO entry/registration charges, although registration by sending an e-mail at [email protected] (max. up to 5 PM on the day of the event) is compulsory.
